IB Study Guides - Biology Standard and Higher Level, Andrew Allot - This one is only a study guide and hence doesn't cover all the necessary information, however there are some info here that is not found in the TEXTBOOK. It did not mention anything about SA nodes. I currently have three books: Biology Course Companion, Andrew Allot (The Tiger Covered Orange Book) - Although it contains some information, I found that the content does not cover all the points in the syllabus! For example, the section on the transport system.
I'm having trouble choosing my resources and am wondering if anybody could help me with this. Hi, I'm still in my first year IB and doing HL Biology. However, I am DESPERATE to get ONE book I can TOTALLY rely on without worrying that I am missing some things! Please help. My Biology teacher uses these presentations to teach the class made by another teacher in another school and I just print them off. However, the school only provides the 2nd Edition and not the 3rd, and hence there are missing chunks of information. Biology 2nd Edition - Minka Peeters Weem - According to me this book is fantastic, as it elaborates on every point of the syllabus section per section.
